OWNERS & MANAGEMENT
Tom and Ruth Reininger, Owners, Farm Manager
Ruth and her sisters grew up in the house at the stables. From the 1930’s until his retirement, Ruth’s father kept a dairy herd on what is now the Walnut Creek Stable. Ruth’s professional career was that of a teacher, most recently 3rd grade. Ruth now is a daily presence at the stable. Her ‘students’ now have four legs. Tom works as the Farm Manager for the stable. He retired in 2003 from a career working with adults with developmental disabilities. Maintenance of the facility complex and grounds is his daily work. In his ‘spare’ time he does ride WCS’s Oldenburg mare ‘Serendipity’. Tom is also active in the local dressage community. They have two children and five grandchildren. Ruth and Tom live across the road from the stable.
Carol Hartlaub, Owner/ Show Coordinator
Carol is the youngest of the three Moeller girls who were raised on the farm property. Carol’s main job is a tax preparer for the past 35+ years. She is in charge of managing and scheduling the horse shows and clinics at the stables. Carol also manages the finances of the stables. Carol is an active member of the Dressage Company and Queen City Dressage Circuit in the Greater Cincinnati Area. She has one married daughter who lives in Northern Kentucky.
Eve Hughes, Stable Manager
Our stable prides itself on outstanding horsemanship, knowledgeable employees, efficient and correct care of our client’s horses and the entire facility. Eve is our on-sight stable manager that sees to every detail of the horses and their needs, running an efficient, well manicured facility and a fantastic staff. She has worked for top barns as a manager, as well as competed on the eventing circuit and with IHSA during college. She brings a wealth of knowledge and a comfort to our clients knowing their horses are in the best care.
Molly Kindness, WCS Equestrian (Independent)

Molly has been riding locally and nationally on the hunter/jumper circuit for over 20 years. She has trained with top grand prix show jumpers and hunter riders since her youth. She has a strong dressage and disciplined foundation in riding. Molly has worked with young horses for many years that have moved up in their careers as winning athletes on the hunter/jumper circuit. Molly has been a young professional rider and trainer for several years and loves working a variety of horses and students, especially with beginner students- riders and horses alike. Jennifer Grant is a USDF Certified Instructor, Bronze & Silver Medalist, and “L” Program Graduate with Distinction with over 20 years of training and teaching experience.
